The philosophy is simple !The "Das Avtar" as per Hindu scriptures was born in Arabia ! and he has been referred to as the "mahadev arab" !
Jesus has also said this over and over that Muhamad will be the "elect of God" and God shall be by him, manifested to the World and he will execute vengeance against idol worshippers and munafiqun - then Jesus said that through him "OUR God" will be glorified and Jesus has referred to Muhamad as the Messiah or Saviour ...
Let us take a deeper look at the reality of prayer. Today, for some odd
reason, many muslims have the idea that our relationship and
connection with Allah (swt) is direct, individual and unmediated.
If all human beings were truly conscious of their direct and unmediated connection to Allah, then Allah would have revealed His Revelations to the heart of every person and would not have appointed specific human beings
as His Prophets.
Nevertheless, Allah did appoint single individuals as his
Prophets and representatives by which He communicated to mankind at large.
Do Prophets and Imams have Luminous Hands?
"God says: (O Messenger) and make mention of our servants, Ibrahim, Ishaq, and Yaqub, men of hands and eyes" (38:45).
What is ta'wil of the White Hand of Hazrat Musa?
"The tawil of the white hand is to hold the white light in the hand and to touch the Hidden Book.
Here the Noble Qur'an alludes to the fact that the spiritual and inner miracles are related only to beholders (7:108; 26:33). That is, they can be seen only with the inner eye." [Source: Coolness of the Eye, p. 82]
That is why Allah says..."seek the means (Al-Wasila) !
The above is a principle which is then reflected in Sh'ia practices. They
invoke the help and intercession of their Imams when they seek the
help and bounties of Allah.
In fact, the Holy Quran encourages believers
to seek the Means of Approach (al-wasilah) unto Allah:
"O ye who have faith! Do your duty to Allah, seek the means of approach
(al-wasila) unto Him, and strive with might and main in his cause: that ye
may prosper." - Holy Quran 5:35
The key word here is "Wasilah" which means "medium" or "means of approach".
The Wasilah of Allah is the Prophet in his age and the Imam in his time.
This concept of Wasilah is reflected in several prayers
and verses.
It may be asked, why do the Prophets and Imams have this prerogative and
not each individual?
The reason has to do with the basic concept of Islam or "submission to
God's will".
While we may call ourselves "Muslims", a "muslim" in the true
meaning of the word is one whose soul is totally and perfectly submitted
to the Will of Allah at all times.
Average, fallible human beings cannot claim
to be this as we commit sins all the time and our minds constantly waiver
from the remembrance of Allah every moment.
Only purifiied souls such as Prophet and the Imams of his Ahl al-Bayt (whom God has purified by Quran 33:33) are "muslim" in the true sense; they are perfectly submitted to God's Will and only they can truly possess a direct, unmediated relationship with Allah by virtue of the divine closeness
( walayah) of their souls with Allah.
We can only hope to one day attain
this spiritual state of pure submission, pure islam in the spiritual sense but this potentiality to actualization needs an Instructor from the family of the Prophet's pure progeny...it is outside the ability of a Mullah or Mufti !
The Shii Muslims affirm that the Prophet beqeathed and entrusted his
religious and spiritual authority to His progeny (itrat) and family (ahl
al-bayt) through Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib and his descendants - the Imams.
Now, if it is established that in Allah's communication to man, He appoints
His Prophets as mediators, what other spiritual functions does the Prophet
perform in this respect? We only need to look to the Holy Quran to find
the answer:
We have sent among you a Messenger from you (minkum) who recites to you
Our Signs and purifies you and teaches you the Book (al-Kitab) and the Wisdom
( al-Hikmat) and teaches you that which you did not know. - Holy Quran 2:151
And when it is said to them, "Come, the Apostle of Allah will pray for
your forgiveness" , they turn aside their heads, and you will see them turning
away their faces in arrogance.- Holy Quran 63:5
Of their wealth, take alms, that so you [Muhammad] might purify and
sanctify them; and send blessings (salloo) on them. Verily your prayers
(salat) are a source of peace for them: And God is One Who heareth and
knoweth. - Holy Quran 9:103
We sent not a messenger, but to be obeyed, in accordance with the will of
Allah. If they had only, when they were unjust to their souls, come unto
thee [Muhammad] and asked God's forgiveness, and the Messenger had asked
forgiveness for them, they would have found Allah indeed Oft-returning,
Most Merciful.- Holy Quran 4:64
It is best to study, analyze and reflect on the above verses carefully and
think about their implicatons.
It is clear that Prophet Muhammad's presence and prayers are essential in
Islam when the believers wish to seek the Love, Blessings, Mercy and
Forgiveness of Allah.
We can see that even when it comes to forgiveness, the believers were
instructed (4:64) to go into the presence of the Prophet to seek forgiveness and the Prophet was to seek forgiveness on their behalf - and only then would they have received Allah's forgiveness.
We can also observe that Allah ordered the Prophet to send blessings
(9:103) and pray on behalf of the believers (9:103 and 63:5).
Clearly, prophet Muhammad serves as the intercessor and mediator
between Allah and the believers - both in conveying Allah's Message to
mankind and in conveying the believers pleas and prayers to Allah.
The question is, what happens after the death of the Prophet? Is there no
one to carry out and continue these spiritual functions after the prophet?
Are the believers left without a channel or means to the Love, Mercy,
Blessings and Forgiveness of Allah? Are we under chastisment ?

I have said that from pulpit in every mosque, synagogue and church and nobody ever challenged.
Unitarian* theology was still very strong, despite trinity at Nice in Pax-Arabica region and Egypt (southern and distant regions of Byzantine empire )…
Muhammad was very well travelled and was a great scholar and reformer of these two very disputations religions which had fallen into hands of exploitative priesthood because of the organization Christianity as religious empire.
Muhammed freed Arabic speaking Jews and Christians as well as pagans from their well-organized and blood-sucking priestly classes… and the tremendous appeal of the notion that you could have a direct access to God without a know-all intermediary caught on like a wild-fire… now of course it sounds like what’s the big deal… but it was a big deal then when in that Holy Roman empire even a king could not marry some one without the permission of the pope and you could literally buy a ticket to heaven by paying in a few gold or silver coins!
Rest had to burn in hell or fear of it until they breathed their last… pretty oppressive eh?
This unsatisfactory system of belief continued to be perpetuated on non-Muslims even after success of Islam but later at least in Europe under the influence of Muslim theologians like Ibne Sina,Ibne Arabi, Ibne Tufayl and Ali Rushd (Averroes)**, things began to change slowly in Christian theology and lead to many revision and reformation movements the most famous of which by Martin Luther cause the big split in Western Christendom called Protestanism…
Thus, Muhammad’s Unitarian theology came full circle as it lead to full reform of Christianity 1200 years after Nicean Creed…
Now you can sing: “Sing Mohammed, Mohammed Ali… !”
Following are considered to have believed in Unitarian Theology according to Wiki:
Notable Unitarians include Ralph Waldo Emerson and Theodore Parker in theology and ministry, Joseph Priestley and Linus Pauling in science, Susan B. Anthony, John Locke in civil government, and Florence Nightingale in humanitarianism and social justice, Charles Dickens and Samuel Taylor Coleridge in literature, Frank Lloyd Wright in arts, Josiah Wedgwood in industry and Charles William Eliot in education. Five presidents of the United States were Unitarians: John Adams, Thomas Jefferson, John Quincy Adams, Millard Fillmore, and William Howard Taft. Other Unitarians include Sir Tim Berners-Lee, Lancelot Ware, founder of Mensa, Sir Adrian Boult, the conductor, and C. Killick Millard, founder of the Euthanasia Society.

"..Name the Prophet whose name is mentioned and discussed most in the Quran?..."
Wasim has provided the correct answer to the above !!! It was Moses !!!!
Now please give answers to the following basic questions
What were those worships and prayers that were ordered by Allah to the community of Bani Israeel and which were continued by the Muslim Ummah also?
In which Holy Book of Non-Muslims the Quran mentioned repeatedly?
Who was the only lady whose personal name is found in the Quran?
How many Surah (Chapter) in the Quran have the titles named after different Prophets?
Who was the Prophet mentioned in the Quran whose three generations were prophets?
"..The holy Qur'aan renews Islam of prophet who were sent for the humanity earlier and therefore , the call for abidance to the commands of Allah can be seen as part of inter-religious and inter-text common. I argue for its urgent adoption. ...Muhammad Mukhtar Alam,Ph.D
How can one describe what Mukhtar says in just one word ? anyone ?
Also making "rallying cries" for others to follow the Quran in the right context or spirit is good....but the majority do not have much clue about the "commands" (Amr) issued or they conveniently follow their own conjectures and half truths !....
I have divided the questions in segments so that I can take you in steps and tie it up ...but you all need to know the answers when asked - making lame excuses is lamentable...it should be on the tip of your tongues...especially those who vehemently claim they follow Quran and the Sunnah.....they should be able to have answers ...so why are the majority faltering?
I can respond to Bakar ....what about you folks? respond to him methodically and step by step and engage him peacefully...and if you can't then be honest enough and say so that you are all surfing on "limitations" !
There is ignorance on both sides of the fissure ! You need to know your own religion before you can embark on the task of explaining Islam...based on the Quran of Allah (swt) as revealed to Muhamad (saw)....

Yes! 4 times and once as Ahmad !
So which Prophet's name appears the most ? Moses ! followed by Jesus !
Thank you ! others are still ignorant about this - at least this answers part of the issues raised...only item ii has now been answered and correctly by Wasim....what about the remaining issues? should they not also be answered?
I am sure you have opened the link and read all that Bakar says !
Wasim Khan on November 28, 2010 on the Subject: RE: Saim Bakar Vs Biblical Islam
So what’s the point of that?
Muhammad’s name occurs 3 or 4 times. Jesus 27 times and Moses over 80 times.
You can verify by searching any online version of Quran…
